Modules Overview
Module 1 – Introduction
The introduction provides an overview of the entire course. All modules are briefly introduced and offer insight into techniques, proportions, materials, and creative design processes.
Module 2 – Head Figure – Standing Pose
In this module, you will learn the 10-head fashion figure, building a standing pose step by step. You will draw proportions, guidelines, and the silhouette in a structured way, developing them into a clean fashion sketch.
Module 3 – Balance Line, Body Balance, and Center Line
In this module, we discuss the balance line, body balance, and the body’s center. We also explore the concepts of the weight leg and play leg, as well as the importance of the line of action.
Module 4 – Feet and Legs
In this module, we focus on different hip and leg shapes. You will learn how legs are constructed and how to draw feet correctly. We will draw feet barefoot, as well as with medium heels and high heels, viewed from the front, back, and side.
Module 5 – Arms and Hands
In this module, we explore different shoulder shapes and learn how to draw hands in various poses in a lively way. The focus is on expression, movement, and correct proportions.
Module 6 – Face and Hairstyle
In this module, we bring faces to life. You will learn facial proportions, how to draw hair, and how to design different hairstyles. Step by step, you will develop expressive fashion faces from simple shapes.
Module 7 – 10-Head Figure – Walking Pose
In this module, you will get to know the 10-head figure: a walking pose is constructed step by step. You will systematically draw proportions, axes, and silhouette, and develop them into a clean fashion sketch.
Module 8 – Light and Shadow
In this module, you will learn how to shade the face and body under frontal lighting to give both the figure and the face a sense of volume.
Module 9 – Coloring with Markers
In this module, the fundamentals of marker coloring are covered. You will also learn about different skin tones and discover how fashion illustrations are colored using markers.
