Face Sketching – Female Face (English)

The introduction gives you an overview of the entire course. Each module is briefly introduced, giving you an insight into the techniques, proportions, materials, and creative design processes covered throughout the course.

In this first lesson, you will get an overview of the course and learn how we will develop a stylized female fashion face step by step.

In this module, we will focus on the most important facial features: the eyes, nose, and mouth. You will learn how these features are constructed, which proportions and construction lines can help you when drawing, and how they change in the front view, three-quarter view, and side view.

In this lesson, you will learn how to construct eyes from different angles and understand them as three-dimensional forms. You will work with simple proportions and construction lines, as well as the eyelid, iris, and pupil, and use them to develop a stylized illustration.
